Wrathgate & Icecrown expansions to be released on time, and perhaps an annoumcement on the identity of the new producer soon...

It seems that we're close to a resolution to this mess. To my knowledge there has been no information leaked about who the new producer of World of Warcraft TCG will be, but apparently we'll know by this weekend.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, the popular consensus seems to be that Wizards of the Coast, the producers of Magic: The Gathering and D&D, would get the contract.
Since the Wrathgate and Icecrown expansions will be released on schedule the release of the in-game mounts Blazing Hippogryph and Wooly White Rhino should be unaffected. These will be the new reward mounts that are redeemed in game from TCG card codes.
